Bend and Stretch in Yoga

This is part two of our ongoing series, Four Resolutions to Fight the Flab.

From its roots as an Indian cultural exercise, today Yoga is now a phenomenon new exercise that has become the biggest trend in the recent years. Within the past years, researchers have noted that yoga not only allows one to lose weight, it can also help improve one’s core strength and flexibility. In an interview with a yoga instructor, he had stated that yoga is especially helpful for those who work long hours in the office, sitting in front of a computer. Yoga allows one to relax during such difficult times of hustle and bustle.

For more information about yoga, I would consider joining a yoga club or taken classes with an instructor. Typically group and individual lessons are available. In addition, many books and videos can be obtained for one to learn more about yoga.
